Zone-style inventory, not a zone transfer

DNS lookup
& export

Query common hosts and mail-auth names over DNS-over-HTTPS, then export A, MX, TXT, CAA, HTTPS, and the rest of the inventory.

Free is 3 lookups a day, with no sign-up. Paid plans add API access and saved scan history. Growth and Scale add scheduled monitoring. A share link uses ?q= for the domain and hosts= for custom hostnames.

Custom hostnames

Optional. One per line, or separated by commas or spaces. A bare label is probed under the domain you look up (staging → staging.example.com). A full name must belong to that domain — names outside it are skipped.

Leave blank to probe only the built-in common hosts and mail-auth names.

Lookup mode

Multi-domain lookup is included on paid plans.

What a lookup includes

One search inventories the apex for A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, NS, TXT, SOA, SRV, CAA, and HTTPS. It also probes a fixed set of common hosts and mail-auth names: SPF, DMARC, MTA-STS, BIMI, and DKIM selectors that are widely published. Missing names are left out. The lookup does not ask for a zone transfer, so it will not list every label in the zone.

Queries use DNS-over-HTTPS. Cloudflare is tried first, and Google is used if that request fails at the transport layer. Each exported row has a TTL and a provenance value: configured for a record published at that name, or resolved when an address was followed from a CNAME.

Paste up to 100 custom hostnames to add names the built-in list does not cover. A bare label is expanded under the domain you looked up. A full name is used only when it belongs to that domain. Filter by record type before exporting CSV, JSON, XML, or PDF.

Questions

Which record types can I look up?
The apex is queried for A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, NS, TXT, SOA, SRV, CAA, and HTTPS. Built-in mail-auth names such as _dmarc and selector._domainkey are queried for TXT after a CNAME check. A custom hostname is queried more broadly and still starts with that CNAME check.
Is this a zone file download?
The lookup does not ask the authoritative server for a zone transfer. It checks a known list of hosts plus custom names you paste, up to 100 hostnames.
What does provenance mean?
configured means the record was published at that hostname. resolved means the address was followed from a CNAME, or an apex A or AAAA answer on nameservers that may synthesize the address. Both labels are included in CSV, JSON, XML, and PDF exports.
How many free lookups do I get?
Three browser lookups a day, with no account. Pro and above remove that daily cap and add API access and saved history. Scheduled monitoring is on Growth and Scale only.
Can I share a lookup?
The page writes the domain into a ?q= query parameter and custom hostnames into hosts=. Copy that URL to open the same lookup again.
